reflex
How to play
Reflex is a variation of a blackbox. The object of the Reflex game is to find positions of optical elements on the board. Player is provided with information how many game field grids laser beam has travelled since it has left game field, was absorbed or was reflected and return to starting point. The list of the optical elements available for current game are displayed below game panel.
Optical elements
There are 6 different types of optical elements:
- absorbs laser beams regardless of it's incoming.
- reflects back laser beam when coming from north or south, does not affect laser beam coming from west or east.
- reflects back laser beam when coming from west or east , does not affect laser beam coming from north or south.
- reflects back laser beam regardless of it's incoming direction
and
- laser beam is reflected and travels perpendicularly to it's initial direction.

Outer panels
The outer panels of game board display information about how many game field grids laser beam has travelled since left this field. Background colours inform about reason of stop of the laser beam.
– beam has left the board (after travel of 8 grids)
– beam was absorbed (after travel of 8 grids)
– beam return to this position (after travel of 5 grids)
red stripes indicate that current elements positions on board make beam travel wrong number of grids or outcome differs to expected (example: beam is absorbed instead of leaving the board).
